St Bede's Mini Vinnies organised a non uniform day which was held today in aid of 'The Key Project' in South Shields. 'The Key Project' is a charity that helps young people aged 16 - 25 who are at risk of becoming homeless.
The Mini Vinnies made posters to advertise the event and delivered a fantastic presentation to the whole school telling them all about the day and about 'The Key Project' charity.
The theme of the non-uniform day was 'Brighten up the Harvest'. The children were allowed to come to school dressed in brightly coloured clothes but instead of a monetary charge the children brought in tinned goods, dry products and toiletries.
The children looked dazzling in their colourful outfits and I think you'll agree that the families of the children at St Bede's were very generous as you can see by the photographs.
A huge thank you from the Mini Vinnies.
