On Wednesday 16th November, the School Council members from Years 5 & 6 attended the Friends Against Bullies (FAB) Awards at Boldon School. This is a fantastic event where Schools and Community groups are rewarded for their amazing Anti-Bullying work.
The School Council members gave a presentation, telling everyone about the work that has been happening at St. Bede’s. This included, what bulling is and what to do if you or someone else is being bullied. The council also spoke about the work being done in the playground, such as friendship stops and the junior buddies at lunchtime, who support the infant children.
This was an inspirational event to attend and the School Council members did an amazing job representing the school.
Well done to all the pupils for the award!
