‘Howzat’ for a cricket season! All the girls trained hard while having a great time in practice sessions. In the District tournament the girls won all of their games to become South Tyneside champions at Whitburn Cricket Club. Then, on a sunny, June day the girls performed even better at the County Finals. Three morning victories saw us win our group.  We followed this up with a stunning semi-final performance which led us to the final. The County Final was closely fought and went down to the final ball with all results still possible. Unfortunately we fell just short and missed out on the County Cup. But the girls can be very proud of their wonderful efforts! Well played girls and thankyou for your positive attitude.
